Our founder, Dr Gurs Sehmi, is a well-known dental implant surgeon and cosmetic dentist. Over the last 10 years, he has been the lead surgical and cosmetic dentist at two well-known, high-end cosmetic dental practices.
Patients suffering from full-mouth issues have been coming to Dr Sehmi for help for years – finding him through social media and personal recommendations. Many of these problems, and the treatment needed to fix them, could have been avoided. All it takes is to prioritise preventative dental care from an early age.
This is our vision for The Wraysbury Clinic.
We want to help people with healthy mouths, stay healthy, and if there is a small problem, we educate and empower our patients to make good long-term choices with their dental health.
The days of a dentist telling you that you need a filling, and you just have it done? They're over. If you visit us needing a filling, we figure out the reason why, to help you maintain better health in the future. It isn’t just a case of bad diet (although this is still a cause for some people) – misaligned teeth could be trapping food, or creating an area that is difficult to clean, and this could be causing decay.
With dental imaging, we are able to show you the problem, fix the immediate issue, and explain ways that you could prevent this happening again.
Our Team
Our treatment coordinators, nursing team and dental therapists are all consistently trained in the latest dental technology, and are ready to answer your questions.
Dental therapists are highly-trained dental hygienists. They are equipped carry out most of the routine treatments that dentists would traditionally perform. This means that you can book in for a check-up, a hygiene session (so you leave with a bright white smile), and fillings – and you will see the same person for all those treatments.
If you need more complex work, then you can see the most appropriate dentist, with a special interest in the treatment you are considering. All of this is to make things more convenient for you.
We have onsite parking, membership plans, and video call facilities to speak with clinicians or treatment coordinators. When you come in to visit, you'll find that the clinic is focused on your comfort: from our memory foam dental chairs to bright and clutter-free clinical environments. We want to make your experience as positive as possible.
